[edit] Feedback
You wrote that you wanted feedback on Pinkerton_Academy, so here are a few thoughts.
- "which opened its doors to only male students on 4 December 1815" seems awkward. "which opened as a boy's school on"; "which opened on 4 December 1815 as an all-male institution", or something similar?
- there needs to be some mention of when it became co-educational.
- The date of opening (1815) doesn't match the date of establishment (1814) or the date in the slogan ("Quality education since 1814").
- "Former" is less informative than actual dates (e..g.: Gerry Whiting Hazelton - Former United States Representative from Wisconsin. vs Gerry Whiting Hazelton - United States Representative from Wisconsin, 1871-1875.)
- I removed the "unreferenced" tag. - Nunh-huh 23:47, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, I took the suggestions. I didn't create the history section, but I think it meant that the school opened in 1815 but was built in 1814.--EvaGears 02:01, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
- It sounds like they are cheating a bit as saying they were giving "quality education" before a single class was taught, but that's not your fault :) - Nunh-huh 03:06, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Would this be a reliable source?

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Nashua Seall.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Nashua Seall.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Fair use disputed for Image:Nashua Seall.png
Thanks for uploading Image:Nashua Seall.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. [edit] Your sandbox
Just a quick heads-up for you ... I repaired a link to [[cross country]] in your sandbox b/c it pointed to a DAB page. It now points to [[cross country running]], which is what I believe you wanted. Cheers, PaddyM 20:54, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
