[edit] Profiler?

I keep seeing Evan Rachel Wood's name in the opening credits for the tv show, Profiler. Can anyone tell me if and how she was involved in the show? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.95.238.177 (talk) 02:25, 15 May 2007 (UTC).

Yes. According to IMDB, Wood appeared in seven episodes from 1998-1999, in which she played Chloe Waters, daughter of Dr. Samantha Waters (Ally Walker). - Mr. Dude Man 11:38, 28 May 2007

thanks!

[edit] Religion

This article states that she's Jewish and then in the next line refers to her "first family Christmas." Can anyone comment on this seeming contradiction? Though it's not unheard of for Jewish families in America to do some form of celebration for Christmas, it does seem awkward the way it's written. Also, the reference for that statement is no longer available through the posted link.

The same reference can be found here [1]. I agree that the Christmas reference is unnecessarily specific, since you could probably list a lot of holidays her family has celebrated. All Hallow's Wraith 04:50, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

someone add a new picture in which she doesnt look ugly —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.118.149.203 (talk) 21:32, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Currently the article in effect says she's not Jewish (by any of the commonly-used definitions of same), and then cats her that way anyway. (This and who know how many other bios in ethnic-category-happy Wikipedia.) I'm removing same, please don't add them back without putting the article into a consistent (and sourced) state. I don't understand - the article states that she is Jewish. One of the references is to a DVD commentary in which Wood herself states that she is Jewish. All Hallow's Wraith (talk) 05:20, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Urk, my bad: I think I must have muddled the statements here, and in the article on Nikki Reed. (Who, if she has a non-Jewish mother, isn't Jewish by the Orthodox definition, and if she doesn't self-identify, isn't Jewish by the Reform one. But that's work for another article...) Alai (talk) 07:51, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Nikki Reed referred to herself as Jewish on the Thirteen commentary as well ("here's a scene where my character wears a cross, even though I'm Jewish", which prompted Wood to point out that they are both Jewish in real life). I don't know how Jewish that makes Reed, but yes, that's for another article... All Hallow's Wraith (talk) 08:05, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
OK, that may make her "self-identifiedly ethnically but not religiously Jewish", or something similarly tortuous to that. I think I shall cut my loses, and withdraw from the field at this point. Alai (talk) 08:11, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
