In the World of Greyhawk campaign setting for the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game, Evard, also known as Evard the Black, is an archmage responsible for developing such spells as Evard's Black Tentacles. Evard is known to operate from the Sheldomar Valley, where he deals as an information broker. He is an enemy of Mordenkainen.
