The Evangelical Free Church of Canada is a Protestant Christian denomination in Canada. It is headquartered in Langley, British Columbia. Nearby Trinity Western University is a private institution in B.C., associated with that denomination.[1] There are currently about 150 Evangelical Free Churches throughout Canada.[2]
[edit] Merger Negotiations with the Associated Gospel Churches of Canada
In 2005 and 2006, negotiations were undertaken to see if a denominational merger with the Associated Gospel Churches of Canada could take place. Talks concluded in December 2006 with no agreement.
