Evan Thomas Sharpley (born November 4, 1986, in Pontiac, Michigan) is an American football player, currently playing the quarterback at the University of Notre Dame as well as first basemen on the baseball team.
On October 13, 2007, Sharpley replaced starting quarterback Jimmy Clausen midway through Notre Dame's loss to Boston College. Sharpley was later named the Irish's starting quarterback for their contest against USC on October 20, 2007.[1]
