Eva Maddox

Eva L. Maddox, FIIDA, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP Co-Founder, Program Director, Archeworks, B Sci, University of Cincinnati is an interior designer.
"Eva is a pioneer in the development of brand strategy and communications through design. Founder of Eva Maddox Branded Environments, her research-based design approach identifies and integrates a client's "DNA" into tangible experiences. As Principal and leader of the firm's Branded Environments group, her solutions focus on alternative learning processes, restorative/green spaces and the integration of community/cultural interpretations within corporate, education and healthcare environments.
Eva was named by Fast Company as one of the "change agents... designers, and dreamers who are creating your future." She is the recipient of more than 80 awards for design excellence and garnered the prestigious Chicago Magazine 2002 Chicagoan of the Year award and the 2000 Star Award from the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). She has been elected to the IIDA's College of Fellows and inducted (1992) into the Interior Design Hall of Fame. Eva is also co-founder of Archeworks, a non-profit alternative design school in Chicago and is active in the International Women's Forum, The Chicago Network, Architectural Society of the Art Institute of Chicago, and The World Future Society." Current project: The Haworth's 20,000-square-foot New York showroom was designed by Maddox using LEED Gold Standards. Focusing on the importance of sustainability of not only the interior, but the client's employees who will be working in a healthy interior environment.
