Eva L. Baker

Eva L. Baker is Professor, UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies, director of the Center for the Study of Evaluation (CSE), and a director of the National Center for Research on Evaluation, Standards, and Student Testing (CRESST). Baker's teaching and research emphasize the integration of measurement and learning. She is former chair of the Board on Testing and Assessment of the National Research Counciland was co-chair of the Joint Committee on the Revision of the Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing (published in 1999). She is former editor of Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis. Baker was the 2006/2007 president of the American Educational Research Association. She earned an EdD, MA, and BA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
