Has there ever been any explanation offered as to why there are so many non-Europeans on this "European" council??? The name of this organization seems to proclaim itself to have some vague affiliation with the idea of European Muslims producing a European-adapted form of Islam for themselves, but the membership of the organization seems to be highly antithetical to its achieving any such goal. -- AnonMoos

I LOL'ed when I saw that this "European" Council is headed by that Egyptian jailbird Qaradawi.

For one simple reason, you do not allow them to grow rich as we do in the states, so they can't make their own schools and create such things. The longer you keep them down, the harder it will be for them to develop anything independent, because they themselves are not independent.
