[edit] Military History Project?

Just wondering how the EC145 figures into Military History? (Born2flie 13:55, 1 October 2006 (UTC))

See below: The EC-145 is the basis for the US Army UH-72A Lakota, which was a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) acquisition program. Jjvcfi 22:09, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, built solely for missions which any other commercial aircraft can be used for. I don't recall the Bell 206 being tagged by WP:MILHIST. Perhaps it is because the military variant of the Bell 206, the OH-58 has its own article, much like the UH-72 has. --Born2flie 02:50, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Merge Recommendation

  • Support. Like the Hughes 300 redirects to its most current version, the Schweizer 300C, the MBB/Kawasaki BK117 should redirect to the company and model description that currently owns the production rights to the aircraft. Both articles are also stubs and will benefit from the merge.
    --Born2flie 00:31, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
    • Support: Due especially to the minimal content of the BK117 page, as there won't be any new production of that model forthcoming. - BillCJ 01:21, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
      • Since the UH-72A Lakota is a EC 145, the merging action should perhaps include this article too or at least include the links Jaypee1 09:35, 18 December 2006 (UTC)
This has been discussed and rejected several times on the UH-72A Lakota talk page. Links should already be included. - BillCJ 00:07, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Oppose - There is enough info in the other article to keep on its own. And why should the non-continuation of a product have anything to do with whether an article will be extended? MadMaxDog 08:03, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Oppose - Oppose merge of MBB/Kawasaki BK117 with EC 145 and oppose merge of EC 145 and UH 72 Chwyatt 19:23, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cruise/ Maximum Speed

This doesn't make sense

Never exceed speed: 278 km/h (150 kts) Maximum speed: 278 km/h (150 kts) Cruise speed: 280 km/h (151 kts)

How can the cruise speed exceed the maximum speed? Doyley 22:24, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

A rate of climb of more tahn 10 m/s seems pretty unrealistic - someone pls check the value of 14... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.156.47.238 (talk) 12:55, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
