[edit] Licensing
Template:Euro banknote Note that this creation is perfectly legal as it scrupulously respects all the ECB rules regarding the reproduction of euro banknotes, which require:
- the attribution to the ECB using the copyright notice provided above; and
- the image quality must be limited in resolution so that it can't be used to create counterfeighted bills with a resolution of 72dpi at their original sizes; and
- banknote images must not show more than about a third of the banknote or :
- for banknotes shown integrally or showing more than 1/3 of their total surface, the word "SPECIMEN" must cover a significant part of the banknote (at least 75% of its width, and 15% of its height), using a non-erasable (not transparent) and very distinctive color and a bold sans-serif font (similar to Arial), so that no banknote image can be used to create counterfeighted banknotes, that could be confused with genuine ones.
This image follows all the guidelines. Please read the ECB usage rules in the copyright notice stated above in the copyright notice for details, before stating incorrectly that the image violates a copyright or usage restriction. Thanks. (Please look at the discussion page for the allowed resolution computed from the official legal rules).
