European Sprint Swimming Championships 1991

The first edition of what later would be the European Short Course Championships was held in Gelsenkirchen, from December 6 till December 8, 1991. The event was officially called the European Sprint Swimming Championships. Only the 50m and 100m events were at stake at this inaugural edition.
