Euroloppet Club

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Euroloppet Club promotes long distance cross-country skiing in Europe. It offers its members the possibility of becoming Euroloppet Champion by successfully participating in 8 European events within 10 years. Only one participation in each of the possible events counts, but it does not matter if the skier has covered the longer or the shorter distance of the event or if he chose a classic style race or a free style race.

The Worldloppet Ski Federation offers the possibility of acquiring a similar title - the Worldloppet Master. Contrary to the Euroloppet, a skier has also to successfully participate in at least one of four non-European events in order to become Worldloppet Master.

[edit] Euroloppet Events

There are currently 15 races in 10 European countries in which a skier can participate in order to become Euroloppet Master. Four of them are also Worldloppet events.
