The Euro Hockey League, is a consolidation and rebranding of club competition in field hockey for clubs in Europe, beginning in the 2007-08 season. The main group stages commenced in October 2007.

24 clubs from 12 European Hockey Federation member countries commenced in 8 initial pools at two venues. 16 teams progressed to the knockout stages to be completed early in 2008.
