From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Eurazeo is a French investment company.

With close to €6 billion in diversified assets and a market capitalization of more than €5.59 billion as of December 29, 2006, Eurazeo is one of the top listed investment companies in Europe.

Backed by 150 years of experience and a strong financial base, Eurazeo’ strategy is either to acquire majority stakes or to hold an influencal position in companies with important growth potential.

Following the December 2004 announcement of its investment in Rexel and the increase of its holding in Eutelsat, investments in unlisted companies (including its real estate assets) represent close to half of Eurazeo's portfolio.

The company’s team of fifteen professionals review investment opportunities of a significant size, with a focus on leveraged buyouts. The value of investments is then enhanced by applying Eurazeo’s financial engineering know-how and management expertise.
