Eugene Michael Brown Jr. (born March 24th, 1987) is a Belize Politician. He is currently a Belmopan City Councilor as of March 1st 2006, garnering 1604 Votes, second overall in the Belmopan City Council Elections.[1] He did this at the age of 18 yrs and 342 days, becoming the youngest elected official in Belize history.[citation needed] He is a member of the United Democratic Party.
In 2007, He again made history by being sworn in as a Justice of The Peace at the age of 20.

Eugene Jr. was born of Tina Brown and local pioneer Eugene Brown Sr. He was raised in a family with Christian values, and grew up with the ambition for greatness. At the age of 14, Brown Jr. behind his father, campaigned for the UDP during the 2003 City Council/General Elections.

Brown Jr. is an alumni of the Belmopan Baptist High School, and later earned two Associates Degrees—one in Religious Studies and the other in Business Administration.[citation needed] He is currently pursuing his B. Sc. In Business Administration at The University of Belize.[citation needed]

Being active in the UDP political party at such a young age encouraged Eugene Jr. to gain a passion for politics and a vision for great leadership. Shortly after his father's elections he started to be active in youth programs and social events, his rapid influence in the Belmopan community vaulted him to the top of the 2006 Municipal Elections months after graduating from High School, and becoming one of the first UDP Candidates to win for the post of City Councilor in Belmopan, at that time a PUP stronghold.

Brown Jr. began his term as councilor by creating many Youth Advocacy Groups and workshops. He also worked with city schools to encourage youth recreation by having events that encourage sports and entertainment, and keeps in direct contact with the people.
