Eugene Donnelly

Eugene Donnelly, born 13th January 1967, is a rally driver from County Londonderry, who races in the Irish Tarmac Championship.

Eugene has been rallying for 23 years and his first rally was the Cavan Stages Rally in 1984. His 1st win came in 2002 in Galway. He has been driving WRC cars for 4 years, and is the reigning Irish Tarmac Champion for 4 years in a row (2004/2005/2006/2007).

After driving his Toyota Corolla to 4 consecutive Tarmac Championships, Eugene switched to the Reid Motorsport Subaru Impreza S12 WRC for the 2007 season.

After Rally Isle of Man, Eugene currently leads the championship by 5 points from British Rally Champion Mark Higgins, with 2 points rounds remaining. He has two victories in the championship this year, at the Jim Clark International Rally and the Rally Isle of Man.
