Eugen Schiffer

Eugen Schiffer (February 14, 1860 – September 5, 1954), was the German Minister of Finances in 1919. From 1919 to 1920 and again in 1921 he served as Minister of Justice.
He was born in Breslau. He worked out an involved plan to pay Germany's internal war debt and to restore the value of the Deutsche Mark. In 1924 he retired from active politics. He died in Berlin.
