Eudoxochiton nobilis is a large uncommon chiton of the family Callochitonidae.

This species is endemic to New Zealand including the Kermadec Islands.

This chiton is found on exposed coastal rocks at low tide level.

Eudoxochiton nobilis is New Zealand's largest chiton, growing to 110 mm in length, with a width of 58 mm.
The colour of the shell and girdle is dark olive-brown, often pinkish towards the summit of the valves.
