The town centre (dark green) and the statistical district (light green) of Obdam in the municipality of Obdam.

Obdam (52°41′N, 4°54′E) is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Obdam, and lies about 5 km east of Heerhugowaard.

In 2001, the town of Obdam had 4148 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.79 km2, and contained 1512 residences.[1] The statistical area "Obdam", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 4980.[2]
