The town centre (dark green) and the statistical district (light green) of Brielle in the municipality of Brielle.

Brielle (51°54′N, 4°10′E) is a town in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Brielle, and lies about 8 km north of Hellevoetsluis.

In 2001, the town of Brielle had 11747 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 2.2 km2, and contained 5076 residences.[1] The statistical area "Brielle", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 12290.[2]
