Mondovì is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 km south of Turin and about 20 km east of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 22,068 and an area of 87.2 km2.[1]
The municipality of Mondovì contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Sant'Anna Avagnina, Merlo, Sciolli, Rifreddo, Gratteria, San Giovanni Govoni, San Quintino, Breolungi, Pogliola, San Biagio, and Pascomonti.
Mondovì borders the following municipalities: Bastia Mondovì, Briaglia, Carrù, Cigliè, Magliano Alpi, Margarita, Monastero di Vasco, Morozzo, Niella Tanaro, Pianfei, Rocca de' Baldi, Vicoforte, Villanova Mondovì.
