Bra is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 40 km southeast of Turin and about 45 km northeast of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 28,819 and an area of 59.6 km2.[1]

The municipality of Bra contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Pollenzo, San Matteo, San Michele, Bandito, Riva, and Cà del bosco.

Bra borders the following municipalities: Cavallermaggiore, Cherasco, La Morra, Pocapaglia, Sanfrè, Santa Vittoria d'Alba, Verduno.
