Eturnagaram is a village and a mandal in Warangal district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is one of the most beautiful places in Andhra Pradesh. It is totally covered with deep forest.
Eturnagaram is 250km away from the capital of Andhra Pradesh. It’s a mandal, located on the National Highway 202. There are 13 Grama panchayats and 64 villages in this mandal. The mandal area is totally surrounded by a deep forest. There are more than 2lakh people in this mandal. It was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1953 due to its rich bio-diversity. It is spread at a distance of 806 sq.km in Warangal district. It is located at a distance of 90 km from Warangal and 250 km from Hyderabad.
The surrounding forest includes southern tropical dry deciduous type of teak and its associates like thiruman, maddi, and bamboo, while the fauna includes several endangered animals like tiger, sloth bear, four-horned antelope, chinkara and black buck.
The climate is usually hot round the year. The temperature often reaches 43degC during summer. There is a sufficient rainfall in the every year. The annual average rainfall is about 1000mm [1]
