ETSA Utilities

ETSA Utilities is the operator of the South Australian electricity distribution network.
This involves the delivery of electricity from the high voltage transmission network connection points through a network of about 85,000 kilometres of powerlines, to over 782,000 residential and business customers throughout most of South Australia.
ETSA Utilities is the fifth largest electricity distributor in the Australian National Electricity Market.

ETSA Utilities operates its electricity distribution business under a licence granted by the South Australian Government.
The business is subject to regulation by the Essential Services Commission of South Australia (ESCOSA). Regulation of the business primarily relates to the tariffs charged for distribution services and service standards.

ETSA Utilities also conducts business providing services to other electricity transmission and distribution network operators, as well as constructing and maintaining powerlines and electricity infrastructure.
