The current version attributes the Term "Ethology" to William Wheeler. Dictionary.com [qv]attributes it to French zoologist I. Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire (1805–61. I am guessing they are right. Nick Thompson, Research Associate, RedFish Group, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Nick@Redfish.com.
