[edit] Split?

A lot of these could have their own articles on the history of the term, description, and important office-holders. What do others think of splitting some off with the ultimate goal of just making this a list for other longer articles? — ዮም (Yom) | contribsTalkE 03:40, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

  • Let's just start splitting off the church titles, really a whole different sphere and estate; we can see later what to do with the secular terms Fastifex 13:52, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
  • I have made a separate Ethiopian military titles because it is a separate sphere of its own though they were the basis of some of the aristocratic and court titles.Asiaticus (talk) 11:45, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Sources

Is the comparison of Ethiopian titles with European from Harold G. Marcus, The Life and Times of Menelik II: Ethiopia 1844-1913, 1975 (Lawrenceville: Red Sea Press, 1995)? If so you might want to put it in the Source section and referance it to the various ranks in the text. Asiaticus (talk) 11:41, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
