Talk:Ethical issues in psychiatry
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Initial proposal and background
This DAB page was initially proposed at "Psychiatric abuse" and in related AfD/DRV discussion. The DAB title has been chosen as an effort to find a NPOV title to guide readers to a range of disparate encyclopedic information about psychiatry, its internal ethical issues and controversies, as well as outside (non-mainstream) allegations of abuse, including rejection of psychiatry in general as abusive. The DAB itself is not intended to express, write up, or privilege any viewpoint(s) on psychiatry. Thanks! HG | Talk 17:36, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] What about gathering all the anti-psychiatry articles in one place?
There is so much overlap. For example:
- Biopsychiatry controversy
- Chemical imbalance
- American Association for the Abolition of Involuntary Mental Hospitalization
- Psychiatry: An Industry of Death
- Citizens Commission on Human Rights
- MindFreedom International
- World Network of Users and Survivors of Psychiatry
- Electroconvulsive therapy controversy
- Scientology and psychiatry
- Space opera in Scientology doctrine
- Interpretation of Schizophrenia
- Punitive psychiatry in the Soviet Union
- Gulag
- Moscow Serbsky Institute
- Persecution of Falun Gong
- Falun Gong and live organ harvesting
- The Gene Illusion
- Rosenhan experiment
- Anti-psychiatry
and others. --Mattisse 14:08, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
