[edit] Irrelevant?
Why are there heaps upon heaps of words dedicated to this article, when there isn't even a page for the roleplaying game it's an ARG for? Isn't that a pretty clear indication that this article is irrelevant?Mr.WaeseL (talk) 17:08, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] JJ Abrams
Why no mention that JJ Abrams has discounted the connection to Cloverfield?
---
RE: That information has been added in, under 'Cloverfield Connection'.
---
Why would you admit to there being a connection? It's part of the marketing scheme.
XxAvalanchexX 18:35, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
---
That's true, but why lie or say anything at all? Simply staying silent would make more sense to me than making a point to go and blatantly lie.
---
It's not a lie. The sight is a marketing tool for the upcoming game Alpha Omega. See my addition to the article.
---
Why is there an obviously unrelated email in the article? The Email from 7cm should be taken down, as the Clover Field Project site was debunked a while ago. Also, if a known Mezin Source member was going to join a forum, why the forum of a page that has been proven to have no connection to Ethan Hass was Right? That makes no sense. EDIT: On that point, I'm also removing everything that isn't a proven connection to Ethan Haas was Right. There are a LOT of debunked sites referenced in the article. [edit] Puzzle Solutions
Who took away the puzzle solutions?
I cant figure out the fith puzzle now.
Astro 18:09, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
Nvm, I know why now.
Astro 18:21, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
Sorry I had to do that, but if you'll check this page's entry under 'Articles for Deletion', you'll see that it was risking this page being removed. The referenced page, however, in that section will take you to a blog with both full descriptions and walkthroughs for each puzzle. Keirberos 18:37, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Deletion Process
When, based on past experience, can we expect the deletion debate process to reach a conclusion? Yookaloco 20:51, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Page organization
The Ethan Haas web phenomenon is growing and quite complex. It's a game/campaign that is also ongoing. Perhaps this article should be restructured to reflect that? Or maybe put a freeze on it until the game is concluded so that an article can be written about the phenomenon as a whole instead of bits and pieces we're finding.- Merin Sun 14 July 2007

[edit] "ehwr"
I suggest editing every "EHWR" to the full url or something because ehwr.com is porn. I don't think we want to lead anyone to the wrong place.--75.64.158.182 22:49, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I agree with that. I just went to ehwr.com, and it was NOT what I expected. One Fried Egg 00:58, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ethan Haas Was Wrong blog
I have removed the refference in the main article for the "Ethan Haas Was Wrong" blog. My reason for this is that I do not believe that it has any official connection. Firstly, I've yet to see any actual evidence that it is, eitehr here or anywhere else; and secondly, I find it odd that a blog that is supposedly a "counterpoint" to the main sight updates so much more frequently than the main site itself. Can someone point to any actual evidence that this blog is actually connected to EHWR, Mindstorm labs, or Alpha Omega? As it stands, it seems more like a fan site, and this is not the place for promoting fan sites.
- Go to the official AlphaOmega site. The nature of the Mezin and Divinus are revealed there. The various images on the blog are also crops from the picture used on the Divinus info. EHWW was definitely official. --Koji 02:05, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
No, it wasn't. The mezin was mentioned in EHWR, and Divinus appears in the puzzle. The EHWW writers just took it and ran with it, as did many others. EHWW was a gamejack. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.114.253.206 (talk) 00:39, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
- You're wrong. Remember the curious little pictures that were posted in the blog? For example....
- Unless the "hijackers" had access to unreleased Alpha Omega art, there's no way Ethan Haas Was Wrong could have been a hijack. That image, and the other two like it are cropped from the Divinus image that was released several days after August 1st on the official Alpha Omega website. --Koji 03:46, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Neutrality Dispute
I have removed the Neutrality dispute untill reasoning is provided. If you put it back, please state a reason, preferably an example within the article.
[edit] Didn't they delte this page?
Didn't they delte this page? Astro 19:18, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yep, and undeleted, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ethan Haas Was Right. ck lostsword•T•C 22:27, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Press Release?
Should this press release somehow be included in the article? http://www.alphaomegathegame.com/Alpha_Omega_Press_Release.pdf KC 12:33, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
According to the press release, guerilla marketing firm Promoguys Marketing Group was responsible for the marketing of Alpha Omega. KC 14:18, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
It's an excellent way to get attention to your game, but let me ask you, don't we already have too many Table-top RPGs already? Delta1z2 01:57, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] New Title?
It seems pretty clear now that the Ethan Haas Was Right and other websites were a marketing campaign for a new table top Role Playing Game, Alpha Omega. As such, should the article be retitled to Alpha Omega or Alpha Omega RPG with redirects for Ethan Haas (the character) and Ethan Haas Was Right the viral marketing campaign? KC 12:33, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
- Time to remove all cloverfield references, no? 69.249.131.74 18:57, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
-
- I think it should be left in, but rewritten to show that it is completely unrelated to Cloverfield. Never would have been as popular had it not been associated with Cloverfield/1-18-08's "buzz". KC 23:11, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
Agreed. I think that it should be just kept to a small section stating that "EHWR was originally believe to be a marketing campaign for Cloverfield but..." there was enough buzz from popular mainstream media to mention that.
[edit] New Alpha Omega Link does not work.
Hello. This link: http://www.alphaomegathegame.com/ does not work. I clicked on it, and apparently the site has been taken down. Has the site been moved, or is it just gone? In case of the latter, could anyone who went to the new site tell me what there was? Hopefully not the end to this ARG. Delta1z2 01:10, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
- I believe that their servers have been flooded. The link seems to be working now. KC 13:28, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, its working now. So, um, D&D anyone? Delta1z2 01:56, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] NerComm Anyone?
It's undoubtedly connected to EHWR, EHWW, and Triton Enterprises, as when you log into "Todd Nazer's" email account (username and password garnered from emails), you'll find clues leading to log in to Kellie Graham's email account on a different server. The question is now, though, if this is an official continuation of EHWR/EHWW/Triton Enterprises or a very elaborate gamejack. --Koji 00:23, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
I definetly do not think it is related. Besides the quality being far below what you'd expect from the company that made EHWR, it seems a bit late to be adding new things now that "the big reveal" has taken place.
Also, again, EHWW is NOT officially connected to the game.
- Actually it is. EHWW was the first place where the Mezin and Divinus were mentioned, which the AlphaOmega official site reveals to be a shadowy secret society and a city-state island resort respectively.
- Btw, NerComm did turn out to be a gamejack anyway.--Koji 01:55, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
No, The Mezin was mentioned in the EHWR site, and Devinus appeared on the puzzle sphere in between transformations. EHWW just ran with it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.114.253.206 (talk) 04:50, August 23, 2007 (UTC)
- Read my reply above. --Koji 03:47, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Deletion Tags
I have removed the tags for deletion and so forth as the only discussion regarding it in Articles for Deletion is the related Alpha Omega (game) article. The user Percy Snoodle has put the tags on here to facilitate another move for deletion, although this article has already been voted for keeping. Furthermore the user did so without attempting to improve the article, without requesting for improvement, and without suggesting improvements. If you disagree and think the article should be deleted, make sure to read the Deletion guidelines and understand that requesting the deletion of an article that has already been through the process (twice) is something not taken lightly. La Bicyclette 20:14, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
- The article has been properly nominated, whatever the merits of the nomination, and removal of an AfD tag is considered vandalism. Deor 17:46, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- No, it has not been properly nominated. It does not have a section under the AfD page. It links to the Alpha Omega article. La Bicyclette 03:54, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, it has been peroperly nominated; the two articles have been nominated together. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion#How to list multiple related pages for deletion. Percy Snoodle 09:02, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
- No, it has not been properly nominated. It does not have a section under the AfD page. It links to the Alpha Omega article. La Bicyclette 03:54, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Are they still capitalising on the supposed Cloverfield connection? Is it notable at all? --M4gnum0n (talk) 09:13, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] EHWR wiki page but no Alpha Omega page? WTF
There is a page for the viral marketing campaign of a RPG game but no page for the game itself? Is this only for the hype received because of Cloverfield? 83.49.200.234 (talk) 13:49, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, the cloverfield hype is the reason that EHWR gets a page. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alpha Omega (game) and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ethan Haas Was Right. Percy Snoodle (talk) 11:28, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
