Ethel M. Elderton

Ethel Mary Elderton (1878–1954) was a research associate of Karl Pearson and Assistant Professor at University College London and Galton Scholar and Fellow [1].
She wrote many articles and books, including the Primer of Statistics (which had a preface by Francis Galton), which she co-authored with her brother Sir William Palin Elderton KBE PhD (Oslo) (1877-1962), who was president of the Institute of Actuaries (1932-1934).
They also wrote at least seven other books together, mainly on demographic themes.
