Ethan Dettenmaier is an American screenwriter, producer, and director. After starting out in the mail room at Warner Bros., he landed a position as a script doctor for Steven Seagal. Dettenmaier made his filmmaking debut with the horror film Sin-Jin Smyth, which began filming in 2006. His production company, Snap Kick Productions, also serves as producer on the film Job. In terms of writing, Dettenmaier is currently developing two films for action star Steven Seagal.
