Did a little editing. Hard to find substantive facts about Etang Discher, its not even clear if she's still alive. The little info I added hopefully adds meat to the entry.

[edit] Ethnicity

Taken from the reference desk.

[D]oes her having a “Castilian face” mean she is part Spanish, or is she more German (or even Swiss, Austrian, or Italian)? This is make sure I am not mistaken in filing her under the Spanish-Filipinos category.

Castilian refers to the old kingdom of Castile in what is now Spain and the Spanish language. Anyone who is Castilian is certainly Spanish. Emmett5 18:59, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
I would take it as meaning that she looks Spanish, or more precisely Castillian. AllanHainey 10:07, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
Castillan is basically the primer ethnic group. Saying a spainard is castilan is like saying an Iranian is Persian.
The article says she looks “Castilian” (translated into Filipino as mukhang Kastila). However, the average Filipino says that about any white person. Basically what I’m trying to find out here is whether she really looks Spanish (like Mediterranean and brunette, just like Spanish-Filipinos) or if she just is white because her surname, after all, sounds German.
