I'm not all that interested in fair use notifications, so unless you're a robot (which I can't stop), don't bother asking me. I uploaded all of my fair use images before the strict policy on fair use was introduced. Esteffect (talk) 17:00, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Note about Esteffect
I'd like to make it known that he is a really handsome chap!
[edit] "Ericaceous"
It might have started out as serious, but "(i)t is also rarely used as the elongated form of the name "Erica" places that squarely in the nonsense category. Just my two cents'. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 02:29, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, then I withdraw my objection. It's just that I've seen my fair share of plausible hoaxes here. Thanks for doing the due diligence. Best, --PMDrive1061 (talk) 02:32, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- Interesting. That rarely happens, but it's really refreshing when it does! Good call. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 02:37, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/OS-tan (third nomination)
Hello, you say "there is enough of an argument to keep" - but every argument for keep has a follow-up comment showing that it was wrong, if I interpret the discussion correctly. So the only valid arguments remaining were deletion arguments. If you could explain to me which argument in particular you saw for keeping the article, that would be nice. My main problem is, I tried working on the article as well, but could not find a single source to use - so I'm wondering how you will go about working on it, as you said you would. --Minimaki (talk) 21:15, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] "Keep"
Could you please refrain from just giving a vote with no reason in AfDs? Just voting without reason has no bearing since we use consensus instead of voting. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 02:59, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Prod deletion of 'End of planet Earth'
Hi. I see you deleted this page with an indication that it was deleted as being duplicate material. I've been watching this page for about a month and never noticed it being up for deletion, and (perhaps because I'm new and clueless) I can't find any traces of a prod discussion anywhere on this article. Can you show me where to find the prod discussion that led to the removal of the article? Loren.wilton (talk) 04:40, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- I would suggest redirecting the title End of planet Earth to Risks to civilization, humans and planet Earth. nirvana2013 (talk) 17:26, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Con Toparis
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Con Toparis, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Con Toparis seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Con Toparis, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
