BIOGRAPHY: Esther Gani was born on the 4th of April,1973. Her father was late chief Audi Ladan and mother mama Barmani Ladan. Esther Gani was brought up by her elder sister by name Heline Tanimu.

Esther started her early education at Army Children School N/Bussa Niger state, Nigeria in 1978-1984. She went to Federal Goverment Girls' College N/Bussa Niger State for her secondary school between 1984 -1990. After her secondary school she wrote the UMEjamb, poly jamb in 1990/91 but could not proceed in her educational pursuit due to some problems.

In 1995 Esther started her Diploma course in Library and Information Science at Bayero University Kano.
