Surely the proper translation into English of "Marquesa" is "Marchioness" and not "Marquise" (which indicates the holder is French). The fact that "marquise" has been taken into English (like many other French words), whereas "marquesa" has not (except as the name of an archipelago), indicates that the standard English equivalent should be used.
