    3 users keep to rename for proposing to rename Category:People from Estevan to match the main article Estevan, Some users made the requested move to Estevan. then User:Hmains move from Estevan to Estevan, Sakatchewan. This main article title should keep Estevan, Saskatchewan. I don't want any users to make a requested move back to Estevan. The main article title Estevan, Saskatchewan should kept.     I don't know what you're trying to say but this article should be at Estevan as per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (settlements), WP:CANSTYLE, and Talk:Estevan (disambiguation)#Requested move. Standard naming convention is to identify cities without disambiguating if it is unique as Estevan is. DoubleBlue (Talk) 04:24, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

    On what links here, lots of links linked as Estevan, Saskatchewan If it's rename as a result, I would fix the links as Estevan or if it's keep, the category would not renamed keep the links as Estevan, Saskatchewan.     As you can see from Talk:Estevan (disambiguation)#Requested move, it's been less than a month since moving to Estevan and not all links have been updated, further, some of the ones that were, you have reverted. DoubleBlue (Talk) 04:59, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
    The recent revert to Estevan, Saskatchewan was highly inappropriate, as the move to Estevan had been properly undertaken in accordance with WP:CANSTYLE. If anyone dispute the results of that process, they ought to propose a move in accordance with WP:RM. I note, however, that the rationale used by Hmains ("standard naming convention to identify cities by their place") is just plain incorrect, as the applicable naming conventions suggest the opposite. I can't really discern what Steam5's concern is, although it would seem to be addressed by the existing redirect. There is no need to update links to Estevan, Saskatchewan -- WP:REDIRECTS states that fixing all the links would be "an unhelpful exercise", and that the redirect suffices.     For what it's worth: I agree. The move back to Estevan, Saskatchewan was a controversial move and so should have been done via WP:RM. Sam Staton (talk) 11:56, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

    The page was moved in accordance with a valid requested move using unique Canadian style guidelines that are completely different from American ones. The only controversy here is the unilateral move back to Estevan, Saskatchewan made against consensus and accepted practice.
