Talk:Established church

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wow, this sure is anglocentric, huh? it doesn't even mention the United Kingdom's other established church! john k 06:27, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

By which, of course, I mean that it does mention the Church of Scotland, but doesn't give it a header. It does not, however, mention any of the other currently or formerly established protestant churches, nor does it discuss Catholic or Orthodox established churches at all. john k 18:18, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Church of Scotland?

From this article, Established church: "Since the Revolution of 1688, the Church of Scotland is the Established Church in Scotland."
From Religion in Scotland: "It is not an established church and is independent of state control."
So, which is correct? - TaalVerbeteraar (talk) 16:46, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
