The cover image was originally published as part of "Life Tours the Children's TV Shows," Life, December 24, 1951. On the television program Grand Chance Roundup, nine-year-old Paul Oudinot held aloft his brother and sister to compete for the chance to work on Steel Pier in Atlantic City.
The image is from the Esther Bubley archive and the current copyright holder is Jean B. Bubley.
