Estremenho is the dialect of European Portuguese spoken in Coimbra and Lisbon, Portugal and is considered the most pure and correct form of Portuguese as it was the basis of Standard Portuguese to be taught and spoken by dwellers of Lusophone African countries, East Timor, and Macau.
