Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) is a community college in Avondale, Arizona, USA, serving the West Valley community since 1990, and at the Avondale campus since 1992. The college is located at 3000 North Dysart Road, Avondale, Arizona 85392, on the northwest corner of Dysart and Thomas Roads.

Estrella Mountain is a nationally recognized leader within the Maricopa Community College District (the largest community college district in the United States) that provides educational opportunities and workforce training to the burgeoning western metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona population of more than 285,000 residents. Located in the fastest growing region of the country, the college’s service area population is expected to grow to more that 1.6 million people by 2030.

Serving an average of 13,000 students per year, EMCC offers numerous associate degrees, university transfer partnerships and multiple specialized certificate programs. In addition, the college is the home to the SouthWest Skill Center. Courses are taught by more than 300 caring resident and adjunct faculty who are experts in their field. With an average class size of 20-credit students per instructor, students receive individualized attention and every opportunity to engage in the classroom experience.
