Esther M. Canchola, a Mexican-American writer (1934-), was author of the book "Ay que mi gente! - Humor, a necessity for coping with whatever life throws at you..." published by the Hispanic Institute of Social Issues.
Canchola was born and raised in Miami, Arizona. She has been recollecting stories since her childhood, and her writings reflect a desire to present life experiences in a humorous way. She has contributed to several publications in the United States. She currently (as of 2005) resides in Mesa, Arizona.
