Esteghlal Shahrdari Rasht (Persian: ‎استقلال رشت) was an Iranian football club based in Rasht, Gilan that participated in Iranian Football Leagues from 1983-2002.

The club was supported heavily by the city of Rasht. Esteghlal Rasht spent a number of seasons in the lower leagues of Iranian football but came to the top level and finishing 10th in the 2001-02 season. The next season proved to be disastrous for the team, they were managed by Nasser Hejazi, but finished 13th in the standings. They were relegated and embarrassingly lost 7-1 to Abu Moslem on the last match day of the season. The following season and dissolution of Esteghlal Rasht, Pegah Dairy Co. bought the team and named Pegah Gilan. Most of players and coach moved to Pegah Gilan.
