The Estadio Monumental de Maturín (Monumental Stadium of Maturin) is a football stadium located in the city of Maturín, Venezuela, and was one of the venues for the Copa América 2007, held in June of that year in nine cities around Venezuela. The stadium can accommodate up to 52,000 spectators and its construction concluded in June of 2007. It is the largest football stadium in Venezuela. The stadium was opened on June 17, 2007 with a friendly match between Venezuela and Hungary.
