Estadio Corregidora is one of the newest sports stadiums in Mexico.

This facility has a capacity of 35,575 seats and is located in the outskirts of the city of Santiago de Querétaro, 145 km (90 miles) north Mexico City. This sport facility is used mostly for football (soccer) games. It is the home of the team Querétaro FC. This stadium hosted the Football World Cup 1986.

Built in 1985 in a German and Mexican collaboration, it is considered one of the most beautiful stadiums in Mexico and one with the best designs allowing the stadium to be from completely full to completely empty in less than 7 minutes.

It one of the largest football venues in Mexico, after the Estadio Azteca, the Estadio Olímpico Universitario (both in Mexico City), Estadio Jalisco in Guadalajara, Estadio Cuauhtémoc in Puebla de Zaragoza, Estadio Universitario in San Nicolás de los Garza and Estadio Morelos in Morelia.

It is also used to concerts with world star performing there like Rod Stewart, Miguel Bosé, Shakira and others.
