El Estadio Caliente, is a multi-use venue in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. It will be used mostly for football matches and will host the home matches of Club Tijuana, a club who is actually playing in the Primera Division A, in Mexico. The stadium will have a capacity of 33,333, and, in words of Jorge Hank Rhon, the owner of the future stadium, the main reason of the construction of the stadium is his wish of have a professional football club in the city.

The club that will be the future tenant of the stadium, Club Tijuana, is actually playing on the Unidad Deportiva CREA, a public sports park with a stadium with a capacity of 5,000.

The stadium will be opened on January 2008, according to the working schedule. After that, Club Tijuana will be able to be promoted to the Primera Division de Mexico, because the FEMEXFUT demands that the teams participating on Primera Division must have a stadium with a capacity over 15,000. Jorge Hank believes in the team of Tijuana, and, in case of fail on the attempt of being promoted, Hank will buy a team that play on the Primera Division, and move it to Tijuana.

The construction of the stadium is planned in two parts. The first part will be finish the low part of the stadium and the ground. This would be ready for November of 2007. After that date, Club Tijuana will be able to have soccer games. The second phase is that since November of 2007 to January of 2008, the stadium will be continue to be constructed, growing its capacity. Is scheduled that the stadium will be finished until January 2008, and is planned that the Mexico national football team officially open the stadium with a game in Tijuana

The stadium was inaugurated officially on November 11, 2007 between a game of Club Tijuana vs Pumas Morelos. The attendance was 13,333 which is all the stadium could hold at that time. On March 2008, it start the 2nd part of the construction, that it will make a total capacity of 33,333.
