Founded in 1992, ESTsoft is a South Korean based applications software and solutions development company. Its software ranges from end-user PC utilities and applications to turnkey business solutions for enterprises.

There is a large number of ALTools products. "Al" means "Egg" in Korean, hence "ALTools" means "EggTools," and numerous products under this category have Eggs or "Eggheads" as key button icons and also as a mascot. ALTools products include:
- ALZip - A compression and archiving utility, currently supports more than 36 archiving formats, including ISO.
- ALFTP - An FTP client and server
- ALSee - A picture viewer and digital photo editor
- ALPass - A secure password manager for web sites
- ALGIF - A GIF animation program
- ALSong - An MP3 player that supports live-time lyrics for many songs online.
- ALShow - A media player
- ALMap - A family of digital map viewers and GPS (both software and hardware)
