Sorry about removing the deletion sign. However I do believe the article could be a good one with some work and definitely relevant, I think it is a worthy and interesting piece of trivia. Comments welcome.

I remember reading that mapmakers add nonexistent features to their maps so they'll know if other maps are illegal copies. Brian Pearson (talk) 05:36, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
