[edit] Blade Runner
No mention of Blade Runner; I am flabbergasted. - RoyBoy 800 00:52, 14 May 2005 (UTC)
I just put in some incredibly lame text about the ESPER from Blade Runner. I haven't seen the movie in forever, so if anyone cares about the style or accuracy of this article, please step right up & revert. No sweat here. - Ben Donley, judgmentalist@gmail.com, 11:29, 14 Nov 2005 (PST).

[edit] The Demolished Man
Alfred Bester's 1953 novel The Demolished Man revolves around espers, and consistently refers to them by name. This is the earliest work of literature where I've seen the term 'esper' appear. Does anyone know anything about the term's origin, and if Bester coined it? 66.159.200.51 09:30, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
