Esprit de Corps military magazine is published in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada by Scott Taylor.[1] The magazine grew out of an earlier magazine designed to be in-flight reading on Canadian Forces passenger aircraft. It has been the champion of the serving soldier in difficult times of financial constraint and increasing peacekeeping roles, and has often been critical of senior defence management.[2]
Esprit de Corps boasts such influential subscribers as Chief of Defence Staff General Rick Hillier, Minister of National Defence Gordon O'Connor, Chief of the Land Staff Lieutenant-General Andrew Leslie, Air Command Lieutenant-General Steve Lucas and Canadian Senator Colin Kenny.[3]
