Esporte Clube Itaúna is a football club from the city of Itaúna, Minas Gerais, founded on September 29, 1929. At the beginning was founded as Itaúna Foot-Ball Club. The biggest triumph of the club was beating for 2 x 1 Cruzeiro, with Tostão and Piazza, in a friendship match celebrating the inauguration of the Estádio Municipal José Flávio de Carvalho, in 1964.
