[edit] Updates for 2006 MLB Season

ESPN GameCast has been overhauled for 2006. The stats available to the "viewer" are in depth and offer you information about how a player bats against certain counts and with runners in scoring position. Also available are stats against the current pitcher. This is a great way for any baseball fan to follow the game.

Also added is a pitch tracker, that tells you each pitch result as it happens. When a ball is hit into play, you are able to follow the ball as it heads out into the field.

The GameCast also has a pitch zone that tells you the location of every pitch. You can watch as your team swings at low and out of the zone fastballs or breaking balls in the dirt. As well as tracking how batters do against pitches thrown in certain locations.
